Is Gemini Spark included in Google AI Pro?

In the United States, yes, since July 2026. In other countries you currently need Google AI Ultra, although Google says Pro access is coming to more countries soon.

Why can't I get Gemini Spark in Europe or the UK?

Google has excluded the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the UK and Nigeria on every plan and has not given a date. Regulatory review of agents that act on personal data is the likely reason.

Overview

Spark's advantage is first-party access. If your email, calendar, files and photos already live with Google, Spark can work with them without third-party connectors. It can run a task on a schedule or when something happens, such as a new email or a calendar change, and it builds reusable skills for repeat jobs.

It launched for Google AI Ultra subscribers in May, reached macOS in June and more Ultra countries in early July. On 23 July Google began rolling it out to the $19.99 Google AI Pro plan in the United States, with more countries promised.

Google's broader strategy is to put Gemini everywhere rather than in one standalone agent, so Spark sits alongside background agents in Search and Gemini inside Workspace. Business users can build their own agents with Gemini Enterprise.
