How to set up Meta Muse
Muse is the fastest agent to start: download, sign in and message it. Take two extra minutes to tell it what it must never share.
What you need
- An adult account in the United States or Canada
- A Meta account (Facebook, Instagram or email)
- A payment card, even for the free tier
Steps

Install the app
Download Muse from the App Store or Google Play, or open muse.ai on a computer. There is also a Mac app.

Sign in and design your agent
Sign in with your Meta account, name your Muse and pick its avatar. If a friend gave you an invite code, redeem it in Settings within 48 hours for bonus tokens.

Connect WhatsApp if you want
You can talk to Muse directly in WhatsApp. It keeps the same memory as the app.

Tell it your boundaries
Send Muse a message with your rules: never share your address, phone number or schedule, never accept offers or pay without asking, and ask before contacting anyone new. Our generator writes this for you.

Start with a small errand
Try a price-watch or a reminder list before letting it shop. Check how it asks for approval, then decide what to allow.
Tips from experience
- Muse cannot shop on Amazon; the retailer blocks it. Stores using Shopify and PayPal work better.
- Your free weekly allowance resets on a day tied to your sign-up date. Ask Muse for your balance before a long job.
- For Marketplace sales, keep the pickup address out of Muse entirely and share it yourself.
